Perception of Online Lectures among Undergraduate Medical, Dental and Nursing Students during COVID-19 Pandemic: a Cross-Sectional Study at a Tertiary Teaching Hospital

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic significantly affected medical education and has forced educators to switch online teaching-learning activities worldwide. Online ensured the safe delivery of lectures students.
 Objective: To assess perception students towards analyze perceived barriers learning in our context during lockdown period.
 Methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among undergraduate at a tertiary teaching college Eastern Nepal September-November 2020. link Google form consisting semi-structured questionnaire sent through email. Descriptive statistics frequency percentage were calculated using Microsoft Excel 2010. approved by Institutional Review Committee (IRC/2069/20).
 Results: total 211 participated study. Mean age 20.5±1.5 years. Out 211, 130 (61.61%) used smartphones attend 176 (83.41%) had not attended any classes before pandemic. most common advantage availability recorded (186, 88.15%) whereas reduced interaction (179, 84.83%) disadvantage. More than half (126, 59.72%) disagreed/strongly disagreed that are more effective traditional face-to-face lectures.
 Conclusions: Most negative lectures. findings recommend hybrid conventional classroom based newer for delivering education.
